Applicants who wish to go to Australia with the intention of visiting family or friends, engaging in tourism, or doing business activities are eligible to apply for a visitor visa.

There are 3 different types of visitor visas for Australia which are:

• Tourist Visa
• Business Visa
• Sponsored Family Visa

Tourist Visa

The visa is valid for a maximum of one year, during which time the applicants are not permitted to engage in gainful employment in Australia. The visa only authorizes the applicant to engage in academic or vocational training for a maximum of three months.

To be qualified for this visa, the applicant must satisfy the requirements for their health and character, as well as demonstrate that they have the financial resources to cover their living expenses while in Australia.

Business Visa

If the applicant intends to visit for the purpose of making general business or employment inquiries, negotiating contracts, or participating in a trade exhibition or conference, then they should apply for this visa stream.

Both when the application is submitted and when the result is communicated to the applicant, the applicant must be located outside of Australia.

Family-Sponsored Visa

Additionally, the duration of this visa might be up to a year. To be eligible for this visa, applicants must have a sponsor in Australia, who can be a member of the applicant’s immediate family or an official with the Australian government.

Additionally, candidates may only enter Australia on a temporary visitor’s visa. It is possible that the sponsor will be required to pay a security bond. The applicant has the opportunity to engage in education or training for up to three months.
